After measuring your ping or latency, the throughput test will look at measuring your downlink bandwidth. This result corresponds to the mass of data that you will be able to receive in one second on your computer. Unlike measuring pong, the downlink bandwidth will need to be faster. In fact, the higher the result, the faster and better your internet connection will be. For example, a fiber connection will have downlink bandwidth around 500 Mb / s.
Upload speed test
After testing your latency as well as your data reception speed or downlink bandwidth, the throughput test will measure the amount of data per second that you can send. The principle remains the same for interpreting the results of this bandwidth, the higher the measurement, the faster your internet connection speed. We can cite as an example a classic ADSL connection. The result for a normal uplink bandwidth is then around 800 kb / s.
